In a variation of the typical bluebonnet format (flanked on the left and right by tall oak trees), the red-roofed cabin, and the shed going off of the picture plane to the right, take on a larger role of the composition.<BR><BR>Provenance:<BR>Accompanied by a letter as follows from Tom and Emily Knight: "This beautiful Robert W. Wood painting came into our family in the 1950s. During that time Em and her aunt traveled to Texas; her aunt was in sales. Em fell in love with the bluebonnets during their spring travels. Her aunt acquired the painting during this period, and later willed it to Em."<BR><BR> <B>Condition Report:</B> Excellent condition with no restorations. Original canvas without lining.
