Wehrlin" at the lower right margin, <BR>and also Hand Inscribed in pencil "ep. d'artiste" (epreuve d'Artist=Artist proof) at the lower left margin.<BR>The paper bears the watermark of MBM paper.<BR>Jacques E. Brandenberger was a Swiss textile engineer who invented the cellophane in 1908.<BR>Robert Wehrlin was a noted French artist.<BR>He was born in Switzerland and was mainly influenced by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, the famous German expressionist.<BR>He then studied in Paris under Andre Lhote.<BR>He was part of the "Ecole de Paris" group (School of Paris) but still was closer to the German expressionist style, especially in his engraved work.<BR><BR>Condition : Very Good Condition.
