Friendly, coquettish content, full of gossip and innuendo typical of the day. In part, “...The girls of your acquaintance would have been glad to have seen you...How do the Ladies like the removal of the Minister of France from Philadelphia? I hope all gayety has not fled with him...How is Baron Steuben? I hope he does not expect to leave America...And now sir it is time to congratulate you, and the World, on the Peace which we are blessed with. I should like to see you gentlemen decked with the laurels, you have so valiantly gained...Where is the delectable General [Mad Anthony] Wayne...his being a favorite with the Ladies...” More. of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within seven day
providing that it comes back in the same condition. There is a
lifetime guarantee on authenticity to the original purchaser. The
item(s) must be returned with two letters denying it’s authenticity by
expert authenticators acceptable to both parties.
15. The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of the
preceding terms and conditions of sale.
