<B>RECORD-BOOK SABLE SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Hippotragus nige</B></I>r<BR>This is an absolute monster Sable Antelope that will go in at number 11 in the current Safari Club International record book. The horns are both 48½ inches long on the spiral and 10 inches around the base. He was taken in Zambia several years ago but the mount is in very good condition, with excellent taxidermy by Jonas Brothers of New York. The sable is considered one of the most beautiful animals in the world and just looking at this specimen you can see why.
