<B>RECORD-BOOK PERSIAN IBEX SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Capra aegagrus aegagrus</B></I><BR>Also known as the Bezoar Ibex, this is a handsome creature living in the rugged mountain country of Iran and Turkey. A few have been successfully transplanted to the desert mountain regions of New Mexico. This particular billy came from Turkey and measures #68 in the Current Safari Club International record book. His horns measure 42 x 41½ inches long with bases both 8¾ inches around.
