<B>RECORD-BOOK KAFUE FLATS LECHWE SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Kobus leche kafuensis</B></I><BR>This species has by far the most spectacular horns of any of the Lechwe family. They are highly gregarious animals and are often seen in herds of thousands, but are found only on the flood plains of Zambia and are now very expensive to hunt. This specimen is a high record-book bull that is currently #35 in the Safari Club International record books. The horns measure 32? x 32¾ inches long and 8 x 7? inches around the bases.
