Rare 1955 Hummel 302 PFE "Concentration". This piece is a Goebel prototype and has not been put into production. Molded by Arthur Moeller in 1955. Originally called "Knit One, Purl Two". Girl is similar to "Stitch In Time". Painted by Gunther Neubauer 56. Hummel measures 5" tall, TMK-2 Hum 302. No cracks, chips or repairs. Hummel does have crazing throughout. No box.

Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so. The auction of the entire estate collection will take place in December or January. A small selection is being offered in today's auction.
