Maker: Peabody's (manufactured by Providence Tool Co. Providence, R.I.). Approx. Age: Between 1866 and 1871. Size: Appears to be a .45-70 cal. Measures about 52" overall with a 33" barrel. Additional Info: On the bottom of the stock is a tag that says, Conn 311 (possibly a Connecticut Militia rifle?). We are selling this as an antique / curio item and not warranted safe to shoot. No FFL paperwork required on this antique pistol which was made pre-1898. We will only ship this item to the United States and only where it is legal to do so. Please know your local/state laws before buying. Condition: Pretty good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures - they are an important part of our description.
