Approx. 13 5/16" long overall. It appears that the handle was blown off of the rest of the pistol. There is a manila tag attached that reads "I was 1st Sergeant Co C 508th Para Inf 82nd Airborne Div fighting in the area of Holzheim Belgium in late Jan 1945. While doing a recon of enemy forces we came under intense small arms fire and dove under a small stone bridge. I actually landed on the German Lugar evidently buried in the last war. Quite a find. Several days after finding this artifact I really ran into trouble. It was a hornets nest of fighting that saw me captured by the krauts and quickly escaping by close combat action.
