EXTREMELY RARE Hummel 107 wall plaque, "Little Fiddler" with Wood Frame, TMK1, incised crown. Very limited production. Listed as closed edition 8/1/38. Modeled by Arthur Moeller in 1938. Similar to all-ceramic plaque Hum 93 (rare old style background), except for the wood frame. Considered extremely rare. Signature is on front. Has three building background. This is a flat ceramic piece. Does not have sides like an all ceramic plaque. Framed Hummel plaque measures 6" x 6", TMK-1, Hum 107. No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. No box.

Provenance: From the estate collection of Donald Deeks (1931-2020) of Venice, Florida, who assembled what is purported to be one of the most important collections of rare Hummel figurines in existence. Blackwell Auctions has been commissioned by his family to sell the entire collection of about 2,000 pieces, many of them either unique or nearly so. The auction of the entire estate collection will take place in December or January. A small selection is being offered in today's auction.
