This is a RARE original R.H. Ruana Bowie knife made in the 1960's. Rudy Ruana began making custom knives in the 1930's. His business has been family owned from the beginning and is still in operation today in Bonner, Montana. Ruana knives are highly regarded and sought after by knife collectors and enthusiasts. This is a RARE early Bowie knife that features a broad drop point blade a hammered brass inlay on the spine. The crosspiece is made from brass and holds the robust antler handle. The brass end piece of the handle is stamped "Ruana 41D M Bowie". The bowie knife comes with the original leather scabbard. This is truly one of the most RARE Ruana knives available for sale. The Ruana Bowie knife is in good condition. It measures 15.5" with a 10" blade.
