Very Unique Early American Piece, One Of A Kind!

Early American hand made Bench out of Cherry wood, it is constructed all out of 1 3/4" solid plank boards. In other words the back is one solid piece, the seat is one solid piece and all remaining sides and supports are solid plank boards held together with large iron forged square nails. The thickness of the wood averages 1 3/4" in most places. It is truly ONE OF A KIND and solid as a rock, not to mention quite heavy as well. We estimate the age of this piece to be between 1800-1830. There are a few splits in the wood here and there as can be expected and can be seen by some of the photo's but does in no way affect the piece structurally. Also on one arm rest there is a spot where the wood was filled in but again does not take away from the beauty of the Bench. Underneath can also be used for storage. This piece would be ideal in a rustic cabin or an entry way of a home. Needless to say it is a Rare & Unique piece of Early American History. Would make a great addition to any home & a quality investment as well......
