RARE CDV OF EDWIN PERRIN. Fine cdv of Edwin Perrin, U.S. expediter sent by the Secretary of War to help arm Civil War troops in the southwest. Image probably taken in Albuquerque, January 1862. Seated on a burro, wearing a fringed jacket, and is armed to the teeth with a bowie knife, a sword, a carbine, tin cup and other utensils. Anthony backmark. Lower crns clipped.
