<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"><tr><td><em> A RARE very EARLY example of a LARGE SILVER, HAND FORGED, Bon Bon, or Pea Spoon. Featuring dancers & early CUPID style flute player! c.1890 GOOD LUCK!</em></td></tr><tr> <td width="100%"> This is a RARE beautiful example of a VERY LARGE, EARLY Silver Bon Bon, or Pea Spoon. It features two people dancing, with VERY elaborate design work completly surrounding the entire spoon. Up the handle & at the top, features what I can only describe as an early form of a cupid type figure role, playing a flute for his two lovers. He seems to be unclothed, & hairless,(?), and has deep set eyes. Truely interesting, & a wonderful find. The reverse is a little more worn on the handle side making the manufacturs' mark impossible to read, (at least by me). One can still see the hand forging of this magnificant piece throughout the basin. The piece has a marvoulus patina that I've not even thought about cleaning. It has come from the estate of a family friend that passed away about 5 years ago. She was 86 years old. Thank you for viewing this RARE & unique piece, & GOOD LUCK to all of the bidders!! </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: 1013</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:GREAT</td></tr><tr><td>Year:circa. 1850</td></tr><tr><td>Country:USA</td></tr><tr><td>Maker:Unknown</td></tr><tr><td>Height:8</td></tr><tr><td>Width:4</td></tr><tr><td>Title:RARE Antique Silver Spoon, Bon Bon, Pea c.1850 </td></tr><tr><td>Materials:Silver</td></tr><tr><td>Type:Dancing</td></tr><tr><td>Location:Newbury Park, California</td></tr></table>
