PISTOL. Cal. 9x19mm. S# A2049. Bbl. 5 1/2". Ultramatic LV semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Austria by Wolf in 1996 and imported by Intrac. While looking extremely similar to a 1911 on the exterior, the Ultramatic LV is unique in utilizing a fixed bbl. and bolt locking mechanism, reminiscent of the iconic MG-42 machine gun. The left side of the slide is marked with a stylized "ULTRAMATIC", followed by "LV", the S#, Austrian proofs and the date code "EDH", with the S#, proofs, and code repeated on the left side of the frame, and on the rear of the bolt assembly. Right side of the slide is marked "CAL, 9X19", with the Intrac import mark and "Made in Austria" marked on the right side of the frame. Metal components exhibit a dull blue finish overall. Frame is mounted with 2-piece smooth wood grips, and features an inletted front strap for a panel of black rubber finger grooves, as well as an inletted rear strap for a vertically grooved black rubber panel. Slide features a grooved rib with a fixed black synthetic blade front sight and an LPA adj. square notch rear sight. Slide and bbl. exhibit a single oval port hole on either side of the front sight. All serialized parts on the exterior are matching and include the frame, slide, and bolt. MAGS: 1 MEC-GAR 18-rd. mag. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory finishes, showing light edge wear and some superficial handling marks overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting what appears to be a few scattered spots of light surface oxidation, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Action functions appropriately when cycled by hand. Grips and black rubber strap panels are very good, with a few minor superficial handling marks overall. (25-3538/MLW). MODERN. $1,200-1,800.
