<B>RARE ALBINO AFRICAN LIONSKIN RUG</B></I><BR> <I>Panthera leo leo</B></I><BR>This is an almost unimaginably rare true albino or "White" African Lion. There is a pride of about 40 of these lions that live on a private ranch in the Republic of South Africa; this beautiful young male was attacked and killed by other lions. Fortunately he was found in time to save his hide from spoiling. Mounted in Africa, the rug is of average taxidermy quality and in good overall condition, measuring 94 inches long from the nose to the tip of the tail and 79 inches from paw to paw, backed with black felt.
