We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
After over 50 years, I am amazed this set has survived unbroken up and sent in for grading, perhaps it has been in one collectors hands all these years. It has one of the strongest DCAM Washington quarters I have ever seen in a 1958 Proof Set. As a side note the Penny may be CAM, and the nickel is almost certainly CAM. A DCAM 1958 Washington Quarter in PR68 is listed on the PCGS web site at $2,750. PR67 DCAM is listed at $525, PR66 DCAM is listed at $450. The Quarter is Obviously Virtually the complete value of this set. (Note the Nickel's most common grade is PR67 and a PR67 CAM is valued at $90, so it is significant) I suggested to the consigning dealer to break the set up and send it in for grading (he hadn't even noticed the DCAM quarter), but he told be to just list it. So here it is. Last thing to note, PCGS has only ever graded 68 1958 Quarters as DCAM 1 in PR65, 10 in PR66, 30 in PR67, 22 in PR68 and 5 in PR69. I would say this Quarter is either a PR87 or PR68, I cannot tell any better through the cellophane. Estimated Value $1000
