We attempt to take as deatiled an Image as possible of both the Obverse and Reverse of all coins and currency, While we try and accurately grade each coin, as coin grading is subjective, we encourage you to asses the pictures yourself and make a grading judgement yourself. We always 100% guarantee authenticity, but we do not guarantee any specific grade, nor do we guarantee that NGC or PCGS or any other grading company will agree to grade the coin. We strive for your repeat business and do everything we can to accurately photograph and describe the coin/currency.
A fantastic coin, better strike than any on PCGS's website representing this issue.. This coin has a full Head and a Full Shield. A Full shield is much rarer than the Full Head. Here is a Link to a Great Article by earlyus.com http://www.earlyus.com/art001-slq.pdf The article correctly explains that the FS or Full Shield Designation is much harder than the Full Head. Look at the Best SLQ you have and see if you have 16 clear Rivets and a completely encircled design in the center, I bet you have none like this. This PQ Example has all 16 Rivets sharp and clear, the Design in the center of the shield is clearly encircled with no weakness. It also has a Full Head, is Blast White and is an all Original Example . This coin is FULLY GRADEABLE, Never Dipped, Never Played With. You won't find a better Strike. Read the Article, LOOK at the HUGE PICS. Coin World's Coin Values lists ms66 Full Head, No mention of the Shield at $5000, it list ms65 FH at $1500, again No mention of the Full Shield. Wholesale Greysheet Value is listed in ms65FH at $1300, and does not list anything higher or address the Full Shield. The PCGS website lists ms66 FH at $4500. Note the example which is an ms67 which is show on the PCGS website on the page for the 1920-p, does not have 16 rivets it only has 15, and that's an ms67. Estimated Value $5000
