Fine content A.D.S. 1p. 4to., [n.p.], Mar. 26, 1808 stating his opinion on the validity of a will and writes in full: ""I am decidedly of opinion, that the children of colour of Joseph, Ashilia, to wit, William Barrett, Sally Barrett, Francis Barrett and Cyrus Barrett are free, by virtue of this will. The law requires that they should remove from this state. I therefore advise William Barret to carry them with him to the Northward. If he meets with any difficulty in so doing, let him mention to subject to me"". Toned at margins from old tape, usual folds, otherwise very good.
