<B>RAMON FROMAN (1908-1980)</B></I><BR>Untitled Ramshackle Farm<BR>Watercolor on paper<BR>14-1/2 x 21 inches (36.8 x 53.3 cm)<BR>Signed lower right<BR><BR> Ramon Froman moved to Dallas in 1946. He was both an artist and teacher. He founded the Ramon Froman School of Art in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. The school operated in the summer months for twenty-three years.<BR><BR>Froman specialized in portrait painting and watercolor. This is an excellent example of his watercolor technique.<BR><BR>Provenance:<BR>Acquired by descent from the artist by the present owner<B>Condition Report:</B> Excellent condition.
