The seated animal at rest but in a position of alertness with his ears raised. The cover and his upper back are perforated for the smoke to escape. Fully sculpted in the round, 8-3/8" long by 4-1/2" tall and 4-1/2" deep, his artistry speaks to me as being MING. The Quigpai glaze is good, and he is in perfect condition save for the loss of the small top knob to the cover (easy to restore). Original and uncleaned, he has a presence about him that is commanding.
