Here is a RADIORE water filter made about 1920. "RADIORE Filter" is cast into the top crock section of the filter. All three sections are in excellent condition with no chips to the crockery. The top crock has a porous bottom for filtering the water into the lower section. The bottom section has an internal baffle and a working spigot. I have no idea how this item actually worked, or if indeed it worked at all. I do know that some of these type filters mixed charcoal in with the water in the top section to help purify the water. This filter looks hardly used ...being extremely clean on the inside and no chips to the lid or anything else.
