This is an original early R.T. Frazier hand crafted saddle from Pueblo, Colorado. The piece is from circa 1900-1915 and shows overall good condition. Robert T. Frazier was born in 1850 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In the mid 1880’s he moved to Pueblo, Colorado and in 1892 he formed a partnership with S.C. Gallup. Frazier was one of the first saddle makers touse catalogs, which made the Frazier saddles famous. In 1917 he was considered to be the largest producer of stock saddles in the U.S. Frazier used a phrase that became his trademark, “Builder of the famous Pueblo Saddle.” At one time he employed over 50 saddle makers. Marked, "R.T. Frazier Maker Pueblo, Colo.". Saddle has a 11.5" seat. Box measurements (shipping measurements) are 24"L x 12.5"W x 14"H. Also marked "RGD Trademark".
