Queen Victoria appoints John Creagh as “Second Lieutenant in Our Fifth Regiment of Foot.” Signed in the upper left by Victoria and countersigned in the lower right by Prime Minister Lord Palmerston. The white paper seal affixed below the signature remains intact. Matted to an overall size of 17.75 x 13. Partial separations to three vertical folds and moderate toning, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a color copy of a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
