Queen Victoria document signed, ''Victoria R''. Handwritten document appoints Charles Green to the position of Macer of the Jury Court in Scotland. The Queen's signature appears at the top edge of the first page and ''Russell'' countersigns at the conclusion. A red seal is affixed to the left margin above a date stamp reading ''London / 15-6-38'', the end of the first year of her reign. Runs 3pp. on a single sheet of card-style stationery. Measures 8'' x 12.5''. Docket notations in ink to a panel of verso. Mild toning and creasing with separation to vertical fold intersections, else near fine.
