Queen Victoria document signed, ''Victoria RI'', the initials standing for Rex Imperator. Handwritten document adds a new member to the order of chivalry founded by the Queen herself, The Most Eminent Order of the Indian Empire. The honored is the distinguished Admiral of the Fleet Sir Alexander Milne, 1st Baronet, GCB to Companion of the Order of the Indian Empire. Document bears a blind-stamped seal. Matted and framed beside a portrait of Her Royal Highness to an overall size of 19.5'' x 19''. Document has not been removed from the frame for inspection but save for a closed tear to seal and show-through of ink from verso, appears near fine.
