A rare signature signed in the last year of Queen Mary's reign. She reigned as Queen of England and Ireland from February 13, 1689 until her death 28 December 28,1694. Mary, a Protestant, came to the thrones following the Glorious Revolution, which resulted in the deposition of her Roman Catholic father, James II.
