1) Queen Anne powder tester made of fruit wood and brass, Hall marked, circa 1700-1740. Wood is good with 1 3/8 inch split around top screw and gouge on left side. Brass components have minor dings and dents. 2) Early belt axe with hickory handle, circa 1750-1800. Handle has splitting among the grains in the wood, minor glued repair spot and three small white paint smudges. Axe head is good with minor chips along the edges. From the C.W. Slagle Collection.
