Queen Consort to Edward VII of England (1844–1925) and mother of George V. Two items: an original 2.25 x 4 carte-de-visite photo of Alexandra, Edward, and her son George by W. and D. Downey of London, signed in the lower border in black ink by Alexandra, adding the names of George and Edward as well; and a handwritten list by Alexandra, on an off-white 4.5 x 4.5 sheet of Marlborough House stationery. The Queen prepares a menu for “for 6 people,” including “oysters,” “sandwiches,” and “coffee ice.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds and toning and mounting remnants to list.
