Offered for bidding in this lot is a set of five Rococo style dining chairs made by R.J. Horner & Company of New York. All of the chairs show a supple blue felt that contrasts the dark stained quarter sawn oak excellently. The two front legs, and stile of the chair backs show a wonderful barley twist design, and are capped with beautiful finials. The chairs originate from circa 1890 and show good condition. Each of the two armchairs measure 24 1/2" wide, 48" tall, and approximately 21" deep.
