Quanah Acme and Pacific Railway Company Archive including four interim certificates for first mortgage coupon bonds, 11.25” x 9”, each with two coupons still attached, with hole cancellations, near fine; seven railway passes with various dates from 1909 through 1950, 4” x 2.5”, in very good condition; two Quanah Route unused envelopes and a Quanah Route postcard in very good condition; and two pieces of miscellaneous ephemera related to the railroad. The QA&P started in 1902 as the Acme, Red River and Northern, a local road in Hardeman County, Texas designed to serve the needs of the Acme Plaster Company. In 1909, Sam Lazarus, owner of the railroad and the plaster plant, attempted to grow the small line. Thus the ARR&N became the Quanah, Acme, and Pacific. The Quanah, Acme and Pacific Railway ended as a going concern in 1980.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
