For your consideration is a Quackenbush Safety Cartridge Single Shot Rifle. This .22 caliber rifle has an 18" round nickel finished bull nose barrel. It comes equipped with a hooded front sight (the standard dovetailed rear sight has been lost). The nickel frame is stamped on the left side "H.M. Qucakenbush, Herkimer N.Y. U.S.A. - Pat. In U.S. & Eng. Feb 23'86 & Belg. Mar.15.86." To load this firearm the firing mechanism swings to the right and a single .22 shot can be loaded. The firing mechanism is then manually cocked. The straight grain walnut stock is in good condition with minor dings and scratches associated with age. All components of this firearm are in working condition. Serial Number: 225. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
