Qing period, 18th. century large white jade carving in shape of 3 birds resembling geese holding in their beaks large stems of leaves and fruit. The carving is done with master lapidary skills in mutton fat jade that is flawless. The open work in white jade is spectacular on this carving with rendering of the minute details, like the birds feet. Dimensions: 6.5" (16.5 cm.), height: 4" (10 cm.).
