This exquisite Qing dynasty chaozhu features lustrous white pearls complemented by deep red agate and vibrant turquoise beads. A large central medallion, crafted in gold and set with a pink gemstone, anchors the design, while four tassels hang symmetrically from the main strand. The necklace is preserved in its original round presentation box, inscribed with the character “清” (Qing). Beyond being a court ornament, it also represents the Qing nobility’s synthesis of Buddhist symbolism and imperial aesthetics.
