A nineteen-piece Hetian white jade belt set; comprised of nineteen jade plaques; in various rectangular, tear-shaped and oval forms; each engraved with Manchu and regular Chinese script calligraphy of Buddhist texts; one jade plaque incised with four-character Qianlong seal mark and dated the first year of the Qianlong Reign (1736); the back of each plaque is pierced at corners for suspension; Largest plaque L: 3.5 cm, W: 2 cm, thickness: 0.5 cm, all nineteen plaques total 526 grams
