QUIN, EDWIN RICHARD WINDHAM THIRD EARL OF DUNRAVEN. NOTES ON IRISH ARCHITECTURE. Illustrated with 125 mounted autotype photographs. Folio, green and gilt decorated cloth in the Celtic manner, spines and extremities rubbed, scattered light spotting but primarily to blank margins. Bookplates of Michael Morris Baron Killanin. BMC Vol. 20 p. 1175. Sir Michael Morris, third Baron Killanin was born on July 30th, 1914, and was the son of Lieut. Col the Hon. George Morris, Irish Guards. Initially he started his career at the Daily Express, but moved on to the Daily Mail where in 1937 he covered the Chinese-Japanese war and subsequently served in the war. After the war he became involved as a film producer, author and sat on many corporate boards. His interest in sport culminated in his election as an International Olympic Committee member.
