QUEEN ANNE SIDE CHAIR. Attributed to New Hampshire. Birch with a mellow refinishing. Front pad feet have ring collars with block and turned front legs. Boldly turned front stretcher and a rush seat. The graceful back includes a vase shaped splat and shaped crest rail. See 300 Years Of American Seating by Patricia Kane, Pl. 79 for a chair with similar characteristics. Ex Gary and Marsha Ludlow. Seat 17 1/2"h., 40 1/4"h. overall.
