QING: Xuan Tong, 1909-1911, AE cash (2.63g), Kucha mint, Xinjiang Province, H-22.1521, with character ku above for Kucha, and shi (ten) below on reverse, Ushi in Manchu and Uighur either side in strange calligraphy, cast in 1909, Fine, ex Dr. Dirk Löer Collection. Although there are no records of Ushi casting coins after the Jiaqing era, this type bears this mint name in Manchu on reverse. These were likely cast in Kucha on behalf of Ushi as a result of a coin shortage there.
