<td width="100%">
A FINE & RARE Large Eighteenth Century Chinese Famille Porcelain Vase, hand-painted with traditional Chinese taste decoration depicting two swinging Chinese Celestial Dragons and Two groups of lucky boys playing. Measuring 9.5" in height by 5.5" wide. The vase is marked with the four-character reign mark of the Qianlong Emperor in the base.
This is a truly wonderful example richly painted with vibrant colors. The piece is constructed from slabs of clay, and the thick base left unglazed save for a small recessed square containing the Qianlong mark. The broad and somewhat slapdash painting is marvelously fluent, and is typical of early Qianlong wares.

Condition: Hole to base. Otherwise in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration whatsoever. The paintwork is not flaked and is not worn or rubbed.
