This lot includes an awesome Pyrex carnival glass line insulator. The insulator reads "Pyrex T.M. Reg. U.S. PAT. OFF. Made in U.S.A.", as well it is stamped with the date "APR 20, 1942". The purpose was to insulate the electrical wires that the piece would carry, so the electrical signal would not seep into the wooden electrical poles. This rare insulator is in very good condition, with virtually no damage, and a fantastic sheen in the carnival glass. The piece measures 10" across, and 4" tall.
