<td width="100%">
A charming large 19th century ceramic money box, in the form of a pug dog. It has a slot in the back of the neck to receive the money. This was the variety which was made to be broken when
the money was retrieved. The painted slip on the outside of the dog is chipping off along his back and top sides. He has a red painted collar. In condition as photos show - one rear leg has
been glued on, but it is a clean, unobtrusive break. He?s a lovely item - really charming in his age and crudeness - and rather long-legged for a pug! Measures 21cm (8.1/4 inches) from his nose to his curly tail, and is the same measurement
high.
