Large, modern medal made privately in Puerto Rico in a very limited quantity using a design created by the famous Philadelphia engraver and mint director Charles Barber in 1899 (but never minted), with bust of Columbus above date and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on obverse and ISLA DE PUERTO RICO above and I PESO = 60 CENTS below montage of George Washington and Federal shield and eagle on reverse, Uncirculated.
