<B>Puccini Signed Postcard With Music,</B></I> 3.5" x 5.25", Montevideo, Uruguay, July 28, 1904. "<I>Giacomo Puccini</B></I>" is beautifully penned beside an image of the great operatic composer. Above are inscribed a few bars of music from Puccini's celebrated work,<I>Tosca.</B></I> The postcard is canceled at Montevideo, where <I>Madame Butterfly</B></I> was making its South American debut. Puccini must have been on hand for this momentous event. Light soiling, but altogether a highly collectible and attractive item. Matted with a name plate in a custom frame to an overall size of 14.5" x 17".
