Public Cowboy No. 1 (Republic, 1937). One Sheet (27" X 41"). In this 20th-century Western, hero Gene Autry uses his old-fashioned horse and six-shooter to foil the plans of cattle rustlers who ply their trade via airplanes, refrigerated trucks and shortwave radios. Autry came to stardom via the radio airwaves and he stayed atop the popularity heap for many years. This is a scarce, early one sheet for one of his famous Republic horse operas. There are pin holes in the corners, minor fold wear, a few small border chips and a tear on the upper right corner. The poster has been mounted on linen and professionally restored, leaving it with a very clean appearance. Very Fine- on Linen.

Shipping: Rolled (view shipping information)
