Psycho (1960) Norman Bates Bedroom Family Album Prop
Psycho (1960) Norman Bates Bedroom Family Album Prop - There is perhaps no one alive who doesn't remember the first time they saw Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece "Psycho" (1960). And most people, even after only one viewing, can recite scene after scene as if they had experienced the horrific moments personally. Near the end of the film, Lila Crane (Vera Miles), whose sister Marion (Janet Leigh), has been missing, goes with Marion's "friend" Sam Loomis (John Gavin) to the Bates Motel, which was where Marion was last seen. As Sam quizzes manager Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), Vera sneaks into the house to see if she can find any evidence, including the missing $40,000. She searches both Norman's mother's room, and Norman's own room. This is a "family album" prop (aged with pages, but no photos inside), from a stack of books, magazines and assorted childhood treasures used as set dressing in Norman's room as Vera searches. Comes with a Letter of Provenience. (Approx. 10" x 12").
