Prussian Soemmerda Infanteriegewehr 62 ( IG 62) Needle Rifle ( Zundnadelgewehr ) .15.43 mm Dresye cal bolt action full wood Military Rifle w/33" bbl [ Dated 1869, blue finish , bolt & action polished grey, w/brass trigger guard & bands, w/metal clean rod, sling swivels, butt plate , Prussia was the first European country to adopy a breech loading rifle for it's army, the Dreyse Zundnadelgewehr M41 or needle gun. The cartridges were paper tih a primer deep inside. Whe the cartridge was loaded , the bolt closed and the rifle fired, a long needle punctured the cartridge and ignited the primer inside the cartridge. Gas sealing was not great, fouling was a problem, and the black powder corroded the needles. However, the rifles revolutionized the warfare. This is the updated versin, the 1862 Infantry rifle, which was the standard arm of the Prussian soldiers in the 7 weeks war against Austria and in the Franco Prussian war. This piece is matching, manufactured 1869, and this is a very scarce rifle ] Ser # 2327 ANTIQUE NO PAL REQ E1080+E1166

FIREARMS
• No firearms will be shipped out of Canada
• UPS STORE WILL NOT SHIP ANY FIREARMS OR RELATED ITEMS.
• Bullets, cartridges and other ammunition are considered dangerous goods and will not be mailed under any circumstance.
• You must have and produced your PAL or FAC or FFL in the proper classification to take delivery of any firearm.
• Restricted and Prohibited transfers will be initiated after the sale on Sunday. Make sure we have your best contact number registered on iCollector.
•You will be asked for your PAL, FAC or FFL INCLUDING FOR NON RESTRICTED. We will not share the unrestricted information with the FEDS. This is for our records.
Other countries need not apply at this time.
Payment Details:
Payment MUST be made in Canadian (CAD) currencies.
Full payment for purchases, including buyers premium and taxes is due within 24 hours of the auction completion. This amount will be charged to the credit card used to register if other payment has not arrived. If your credit card is declined you will need special permission to register for future auctions.

GST is charged for all items sold within Canada.
Once the item has been sold, it is the winning bidders property and must be removed or picked up from the premises within 30 days. After which a daily holding charge of $10 will incur and the item may be auctioned again to cover the holding charge.

American Buyers:
Not all items can be shipped into America. Please ensure you follow the regulations laid out by BATF before bidding. Canada Post and many other shippers will not transport guns. It is up to you to arrange for shipments into your state or country.
Be advised that many items related to firearms may also have regulations including gas masks, body armor, Nazi items, etc.
