Circa 1920's. Oblong tray 2.25"x3.75". "THE PRUDENTIAL HAS THE STRENGTH OF GIBRALTAR" ORIGINAL ADVERTISING TIP TRAY - 1930s or before Prudential Insurance Co. 2.5" x 3.5". Color litho on tin. Attractive small promotional tray for one of the oldest Financial Services Co. (known best for Life Insurance). Features a nice image of their famous corporate symbol, the Rock of Gibraltar. The related slogans "Own a Piece of the Rock" and "Strength of Gibraltar" are still associated with Prudential. This tray was probably used in bars, restaurants and taverns. A great advertising piece with nice eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/scuff/edge wear. Moderate staining with minimal spot oxidation.
