This is an excellent early piece of American history and shows a Providence Marine Society Membership Certificate dated the 4th day of July 1815. The piece is for Samuel Warner. The piece shows a rich nautical etching with original Seal of the Society. The piece is in an early wood frame. Provenance: The piece is from the Anne Moore estate, a direct relative of Samuel Warner. Both Samuel and Anne were both direct relatives of Elias Boudinot President of the Continental Congress 1782-1783. Samuel Warner was a prestigious Captain. The frame measure "x".
