ESTIMATE CHF 1,275,000 - 1,500,000
$ 850,000 - 1,000,000
This beautiful stone is a member of the rare type IIa group of diamonds which are known for their extreme purity and limpidity, qualities compared so often throughout history to pure, crystalized water. Scientifically this purity is due to absence of nitrogen, and "D" color stones from this group are often said to be "beyond white".
