I don't want to set up a situation where a text simplifies anticipation. Anticipation is an interesting and difficult thing to produce, this is a condition one makes by carefully calibrating the differences and distances between one project and the other. When someone asks "What are you going to do next?" that is one of the most interesting effects the work produces. I think there is a quality in the work that leaves some people a little bit bewildered....I don't think there is anything obvious about contemporary works of art unless their quality is quite low. I am more interested in inscribing reflexiveness into this condition by pointing to explanational limits than in making cliff notes for an exhibition.
